As cold season quickly approaches, I turn to my Immunity Boosting Elixir to stay at the top of my game. It is easy to make, delicious and hopefully a glass a day will help keep the doctor away! Ingredients:

- 2 cups filtered water
- 1 tsp fresh turmeric, grated
- ½ tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp local honey (sub real maple syrup if vegan)
- ½ lemon, juiced

Directions:
Heat water over medium-high heat and add all other ingredients. Let steep for a few minutes, keeping water temperature just below a boil. Pour through a fine mesh strainer into a mug and serve.
