Chocolate Banana Mousse

This is an amazing recipe because it is healthy enough to eat for breakfast or rich and delicious enough to serve as dessert! Make at least 4 hours ahead or preferably the night before you plan to serve. It can also be layered or topped with other fruits, nuts, nut butter or shaved chocolate.


      • 2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
      • ½ cup black chia seeds
      • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
      • 1 very ripe banana
      • 5 dates
      • 1 tsp real maple syrup
      • fresh raspberries


Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until very smooth, about one minute. Pour into a glass jar or bowl and cover. Refrigerate overnight. Layer or top with fresh raspberries (or toppings of your choice).
